Indonesia’s VAT Raised to 11 Percent Effective April 1, Will It Affect Game Voucher Prices?

The Ministry of Finance Indonesia, through the Directorate General of Taxes, has officially raised the value-added tax (VAT) from 10 percent to 11 percent, starting April 1, 2022.

In response to this new adjustment, Wallet Codes Indonesia assures users that there has been no discussion to increase the price of any game vouchers on the platform in the near future.

Following the newly-announced policy, Wallet Codes Indonesia has planned out an adjustment strategy.

“Currently, our adjustment plan will not be imposed on the selling price for end-users. Rather, the adjustment will be made to the distribution in payment gateways and service fees,” clarified Vita Paulina, Marketing and Operation Manager at Forest Interactive Indonesia, who also oversees Wallet Codes’ operations in the country.

Despite that no price adjustment will be imposed on vouchers sold on Wallet Codes Indonesia, the one-stop platform for digital products has expressed its continuous support for the government policies and regulations.

To date, Wallet Codes Indonesia has a total of 15 digital products from the world’s popular online entertainment and stores such as Steam Wallet, UC PUBG Mobile, Mobile Legends Diamonds, Point Blank Cash, Ayodance Megaxus Mi Cash, Roblox Gift Card, Free Fire Diamonds, LifeAfter Credits, Ragnarok M Eternal Love BCC, Lords Mobile Diamonds, Call of Duty Cash, Saint Seiya Awakening Coupons, Valorant Points, Google Play Gift Card, dan Playstation Network Cards.
