So dealing a killing blow on an enemy hero trying to run for dear life takes an immense amount of game sense that takes years (yes, real lifetime) to master.
Techies’ Landmine and Remote Mine
Techies are one of the most unique heroes in Dota 2. Techies don’t hit the enemy with their attacks and aren’t even present during team clashes. A Techies places invisible mines around his enemies’ path to protect his base. You need a lot of foresight to play this hero properly and even a lot more patience. If you mess up and the enemy just destroys your mines after revealing them with True Sight, then your hero becomes useless real quick.

Hoodwink’s Bushwack and Windrunner’s Shackle Shot
In Dota 2, trees can be your enemies. Especially against heroes like Windrunner and Hoodwink. Shackle Shot and Bushwack are way more effective against targets that are near or perpendicular (yes, this is a thing) to a tree. Vector targeting was only recently introduced to Dota 2 as if there weren’t already enough complicated mechanics in the game. Marci, the popular mute from the Netflix Dota 2 anime, quickly made it into the game. Her Rebound is a long-distance leap that allows her to close the gap or run away from opponents using vector targeting. It is no easy task to use a precisely aimed Rebound while dragging around your mouse with vector targeting.
